With the growing demand for rigs to use top drives and the decreased room that these rigs have to work in, Superior Rig Solutions has recognized the need for a safer design for the Stabbing Basket. The Automated Stabbing Board is just that.

The Automated Stabbing Board hooks securely to the derrick leg allowing more room for the top drive and blocks to travel by. The man basket is moved up and down using a Pinion Screw mechanism complete with Counter Balance Valves that will lock out all hydraulics eliminating any chance of failing.

The ability to move out of the hole center to stab casing and latch elevators, then to be brought back into the derrick out of the way of the top drive and blocks makes the Automated Stabbing Board a vital addition to any rig.
